My experience as a therapist and social worker has taught me that every human being is unique and resilient. Though I use an eclectic approach to each individual's needs, I tend to focus on one's strengths to guide them through the struggles and challenges they face. In turn, this promotes growth, healing, and recovery in a safe, trusting environment.
I have worked with several populations in various settings, which include: domestic violence survivors, the under-insured, unemployed, veterans, and the homeless. I have experience working with people who suffer from trauma, abuse/neglect, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, grief, relationship issues, women's issues, identity, anger, and marital/couples issues.
